The kids are now out of school. Today Jim and I went to their classes and had class picnics with them. It was fun. I was glad that it was relaxed and everyone could visit and play with each other. There were also lots of popsicles and cupcakes to go around! Class awards were presented. James' teacher cried, which made all of the other mothers cry as well. His whole class got an award for accomplishing the 2's Preschool. I got a class made award for being Room Mom. In Sophia's class, everyone got awards as well but for specific accomplishments. Sophia got the Math Award. I was so proud of her! James also took the last day of school to have NO potty accidents. It seems that it just took turning 3 for him to realized that he is a big boy and that he can just go to the potty now. SOOO proud of him and THANKFUL for no more diapers for James! Already 3 is fitting him better than 2 - Praise the Lord!
Anyway, now it is official summer break and we have lots of activities planned. Sophia is taking tennis, swim, and ballet. James is taking a summer school class at Gymboree, swim, and soccer. Jacob is taking Gymboree. I am taking a group tennis class and then Jim and I are taking a weekly private tennis lesson. In addition, we are planning a trip to Holiday World, Chicago, and Grandma's. There is also Vacation Bible School squeezed in there. WOW! This summer is going to be fun!
